Architect and researcher, with postgraduate studies on architectural heritage, and a PhD on policies for improvement of self-produced areas. She has been undertaking applied research and consultancy work in the Portuguese context and lusophone African countries, being interested in urban policies, spatial justice, participatory processes and heritage. She is nowadays a post-doctoral researcher on infrastructural impacts on urbanization and on the improvement of self-produced neighbourhoods and shared spaces, in a research hosted by ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal) and FAPF-UEM (Maputo, Mozambique). She is member of the research project ‘Archwar’, Invited Lecturer at FAUP (Porto, Portugal) and external collaborator of CEAU-FAUP.
